Re-write the Words! |
|
Hello and welcome to my website. Let me introduce myself, my name is Lesley Fahey. I have a passion for working with words and turning writing nightmares into easy to read understandable articles. |
|
I managed the publicity and media relations at a huge corporation for many years. During this time I discovered my talent and the great need for cutting through confused literature and turning messages into clear, correct and attractive content.
This need encouraged me to set up a website offering a service to find the right tone and words to make you look good. Your image is important, you need to get your message right the first time, let me help you!
From different angles, I am comfortable working with various subjects. I specialize in writing, re-writing and editing media releases, booklets, biographies, letters, newsletters, reports and stories about people, programmes and events.
I have excellent relationships with print, radio and television media. I managed media relations for international award-winning programmes; Talk to me… (SA’s first HIV+ Muppet Kami), It’s for Life, Khululeka, Lucky, Lights Camera Action, Mbiya & his cow, Soul Buddyz, Strangers, Takalani Sesame, Take 5, Tobias’s Bodies, Tsha Tsha and Yizo Yizo and many others.
I write, rewrite, proofread and edit media releases, biographies, newsletters and stories about programmes, people, events and projects. Recent clients include: Bright Media (education), Mindpool Productions (entertainment), Rito Consulting (banking and engineering), Eyenoise Graphics (entertainment and education), Amka Products (beauty and religion), Angela Pratten (health) and The Underberg Studio (botany ceramic art).
